What is Saju (Korean Four Pillars of Destiny)?
Saju is the traditional Korean reading of the "four pillars" of your birth — year, month, day and hour. Each pillar is written with two characters, giving eight in total. Bujasaju calculates these eight characters and explains your natural tendencies and life rhythm in plain English.
What are the Five Elements in Saju?
The Five Elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Each of the eight characters belongs to one element, and a reading looks at which elements are strong or weak and whether they support or restrain one another.
Why does Saju need my birth date and time?
The hour pillar comes from your time of birth, and the month pillar changes with the 24 solar terms rather than on the 1st of each month. Bujasaju also adjusts for the longitude of your birthplace. Without a birth time the hour pillar can't be set, so the reading covers less.
