Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using Bujasaju.net (bujasaju.net) and Petsaju (petsaju.net), operated by Hyun Geun Soft (the "Company"), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" means all services the Company provides through its websites, including AI-based Saju (Four Pillars), Purple Star Astrology, astrology, tarot, palm reading, face reading and pet fortune readings, across the Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish sites.
  2. "User" means any member or non-member who uses the Service under these Terms.
  3. "Member" means a person who has signed up through social login or email and uses the Service on an ongoing basis.
  4. "Single payment" means paying for one paid reading at a time.
  5. "Prepaid balance" means a KRW amount a member pays in advance and uses for paid readings (Korean site only).
  6. "Reading Pack" means a product that bundles a set number of paid readings (international sites).
  7. "Subscription" means a prepaid pass for a fixed period. Subscriptions do not renew automatically.

Article 3 (Effect and Changes)

  1. These Terms take effect when posted on the Service.
  2. The Company may change these Terms within the limits of applicable law and will announce changes at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users, with email notice to members.
  3. Members who do not agree to the changes may close their account.
  4. If a translated version differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.

Article 4 (Services)

The Company provides the following services. Prices and inclusions follow the pricing page and checkout screen of each site.

Article 5 (Payment)

  1. On the Korean site, users may choose single payment or prepaid balance and pay in KRW with the payment methods the Company offers, such as KakaoPay.
  2. On the international sites (English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish), Reading Packs and subscriptions are paid with the international payment methods the Company offers, such as PayPal. The minimum payment is ₩10,000. The international sites have no prepaid balance.
  3. International prices are converted from KRW at the Company's reference rate and shown on the checkout screen, where users confirm the amount before paying.
  4. Before payment, the Company shows the account (login email) that will pay, and users confirm it is their own.
  5. The Company does not give bonuses or extra credit based on the amount paid.

Article 6 (Prepaid Balance)

  1. Prepaid balance can be used for paid readings on the Korean site and is shared between Bujasaju.net and Petsaju.
  2. Prepaid balance is valid for 1 year from the top-up date.
  3. Members can check their balance and history at any time on the My Balance page.
  4. Prepaid balance cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, except for refunds under Article 9.

Article 7 (Reading Packs)

  1. Reading Packs are sold on the international sites. The number of uses and eligible readings for the Lite, Plus and Deep packs are as shown on the pricing page.
  2. Packs are valid for 180 days from purchase. Unused readings expire after that.
  3. One use is deducted when a reading starts. If the Company fails to deliver the reading, the use is restored.

Article 8 (Subscriptions)

  1. A subscription is a prepaid pass for a fixed period, such as 6 or 12 months, counted from the purchase date.
  2. Subscriptions do not renew or charge again automatically and end when the period ends.
  3. Subscription benefits are as shown on the pricing page and do not include discounts on single paid readings.
  4. Members may pause the fortunes they receive by email or message at any time during the subscription and resume them at any time within the period. A pause means the member chooses to skip those deliveries: the subscription period keeps running during the pause and is not extended or refunded.

Article 9 (Cancellation and Refunds)

  1. Prepaid balance: Unused balance can be refunded on request from the My Balance page within its validity period. A 20% deduction, covering operating fees, VAT and other taxes, applies, and the rest is returned to the original payment method. Used balance is not refundable.
  2. Single payments: Readings are digital content generated and delivered immediately after payment. Before payment, the Company asks you to (1) agree to immediate delivery and (2) acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once delivery starts, and lets you check the content through a free preview. If this consent was not obtained, or a reading fails to be delivered due to an error, it is fully refunded.
  3. Reading Packs: Within 14 days of purchase, the unused readings are refunded (purchase price ÷ total readings × remaining readings). Readings already started are not refunded.
  4. Subscriptions: A full refund is available within 14 days of payment if no benefits have been used. After that, members may cancel at any time, and the Company refunds the remainder after deducting the fee for the period used (pro rata by day) and 10% of the remaining amount. Pausing deliveries (Article 8.4) is not a cancellation.
  5. How to apply: You can withdraw or cancel without logging in via "Cancellation & Refund Request" at the bottom of every page. The Company sends an email acknowledgement immediately and refunds to the original payment method within 3 business days of receipt.
  6. Passes or balance given free through events or rewards are not refundable.
  7. If the law of your country of residence gives you better protection than this Article, that law applies.

Article 10 (User Obligations)

  1. Do not use another person's personal information or account without permission. Get consent before reading another person's Saju.
  2. Upload only your own photos, or photos of people who have agreed, for palm and face reading.
  3. Do not copy, distribute or sell reading results without permission.
  4. Do not disrupt the Service, for example by sending mass requests with automated tools.
  5. Do not provide false information when signing up or paying.

Article 11 (Restriction and Suspension)

The Company may restrict or suspend the Service in the following cases:

  1. Technical needs such as system maintenance or server replacement
  2. Force majeure such as natural disasters
  3. A user's violation of Article 10

If paid services are suspended for a long period, the Company will refund or extend the remaining packs or subscription period.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

  1. All readings are for entertainment and reference only and do not guarantee or predict the future.
  2. Do not base investment, medical or legal decisions on readings. Investment-timing signals are not investment advice.
  3. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of AI readings, except for damages caused by the Company's intent or gross negligence.

Article 13 (Intellectual Property)

Rights to Service content (reading text, report structure, design, characters, etc.) belong to the Company. Users may keep and share their own results personally but may not use them commercially.

Article 14 (Disputes and Governing Law)

  1. The Company and users will try in good faith to resolve disputes.
  2. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and lawsuits are filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
  3. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections of the user's country of residence.
