A Day Master is "strong" when the chart holds many supporting characters — the same element as you, or the element that produces you — and "weak" when it holds few.
Traditional checks: season support (month branch), seat support (day branch), and numbers (other stems).
On Bujasaju we weight each position (the month branch counts for about a third), score support out of 100, and show 48+ as strong, 33 or less as weak, in between as balanced, adjusted when it contradicts the three checks. Schools differ, so we label it a reference value.
Strong is not "better" — it is where balance reading starts.
Frequently asked questions
Q. Can I see whether my Day Master is strong or weak without a birth time?
Yes, but the hour pillar is missing, so the result is less precise. Treat it as a reference value.
Q. Does a strong or weak Day Master change over time?
The strength in your birth chart does not change. Each 10-year luck period and each year brings new characters, and those periods are read separately for their own balance.
Q. Is a "balanced" chart the best kind?
Balanced only means the chart does not lean heavily to one side. It is not a ranking of good or bad.
